What Are You Waiting For?

This came in a flash this morning. I was up earlier than normal and decided I should just record it quickly. I just picked up my guitar (capo II already on) and played this little ditty.

What Are You Waiting For.mp3

What Are You Waiting For?
c2007 Steven Wesley Guiles

What are you waiting for?
What are you waiting for?

There's no time like the present
There's no time like the present

You'll regret it forever
You better go and get her

You better go and get her
You better go and get her

Something can wait, but somethings are needin' some of your attention
Can you bear the weight of a deed undone that could release the tension?
(repeat)

Nice Steve! I dig that you just put this out there so quickly for us to check out. Sometimes there is a lot of great emotion and vibe in those early takes when we first write a song.

Also, I think the first two tracks off your first official CD release should be:

1. What Are You Waiting For?
2. What Are We Waiting For?

I know... only if the first two tracks on my CD are:

1. This Time
2. It's About Time

Late,
J

I knew that as soon as I posted it. I may need to rename this one..."You'll Regret It Forever" or "You Better Go and Get Her".

Or just have two songs back to back that have almost the same title.

:)

I don't consider this one complete. I may never return to it if it doesn't bring itself to my attention again. In my head I heard drums too.
